to everyone rolling their own game engine & tools, you might have lost more time but you also saved yourself some big headaches now. usually balances itself out.
@eb948c00 I have a game in Unity planned to be released in Q1 2024 - I really don't know what I'm getting into. I'll probably never beat the revenue threshold anyway, but if I somehow get lucky like that, I'm not sure if this could even financially ruin me. The rules are so squishy. I hate having to even think about this. Sucks.
