@87883523 Basically, you might have heard of open-source or free software before (free software, free as in freedom and not price, is more focused on user freedom than open-source), and we're getting to a point where, in theory, we can make ALL of the code running on at least the main CPU free software from the moment you turn it on to the moment it powers off.

Oh, sweet. So basically this is something that's going to help with blob free, foss firmware? I would have thought that the code would have been proprietary, so any implementation would need to be clean-room, making their accidental release not particularly helpful.
Thankyou for simplifying though. I'm grateful for anything that helps push forward free software, especially in the area of hardware enablement.
