 And before anyone says it - while I agree that makerworld obviously took a lot of design cues from printables, there's really only so many ways to design a website when their core functionality is identical. And honestly the supposedly identical design philosophy goes away pretty quickly once you leave the main page.

Basically, I can sort of understand Prusa's position, but I don't think his position is compatible with his previously stated open source philosophy. It feels like he wants to have his cake and eat it too, where he gets to be a FOSS hero, while not actually having to share the market or have competitors build upon his organizations open source work. 

Competition is ALWAYS good for the consumer, so I can't help but be put off by Prusa's attitude that Bambu is being nefarious by competing in the same space as them, or even that the things they're being accused of doing to set up that competition are al l that bad.

 Also worth appending to the end of this rant that I DO own a P1P, so I'm inherently biased. I don't believe that my opinion on this situation would be different though if I owned a mk4. I don't do brand loyalty as a rule
