I’m also less sure of the value of a content warning after having done some research in to them. The 1984 events tend to piss off a lot of people, so they’re not having the intended effect of making the Nostr experience healthier.
I'm turning into a list maximalist myself. my vision is that topical user lists can be shared and copied among users and everyone can customize their feed by tuning in or tuning out of various topics

Apple is an utter disgrace and the Nostr specifications should never have pandered to its whims. A much better way to report content would absolutely be possible (although not the kind of content which you reported: that was a terrible decision on your part, as there was nothing about that comment which would get it removed under any reasonable policy of any kind). I have given suggestion on this issue myself and might actually work on it in the future, but the current 1984 kind isn't it. (It is, however, the appropriate kind number for its purpose).
