Naira appreciates against dollar, pound, euro to secure new exchange rates

The naira appreciated against the US dollar, closing at N1,600.00/$1 on October 25, 2024, a 0.7% increase from the previous day's rate of N1,601.20/$1; it also gained against the pound sterling, trading at N2,132.29/£1, and against the euro at N1,768.18/€1; forex supply increased by 23.4% to $284.93 million; the IMF predicts further naira improvement due to Central Bank of Nigeria's efforts; however, the naira fell to N1,730/$1 in the black market on the same day.
