A Great news for Android users! Google is working on a new feature called Repair Mode, which will make it easier and safer to get your phone repaired.

Repair Mode will allow you to create a temporary user account on your phone with no personal data. This means that you can give your phone to a repair technician without having to worry about them accessing your private information.

To enable Repair Mode, you will need to use your preferred authentication method, such as your fingerprint or PIN. Once Repair Mode is enabled, your phone will restart and you will be logged into the temporary user account.

The repair technician will be able to access the phone's hardware and software to diagnose and fix any problems. Once the repairs are complete, you can disable Repair Mode and log back into your regular user account.

Repair Mode is still under development, but it is expected to be available in Android 14.
