i had a little stock in bitcoin and crypto and was playing with crypto wallets like metamask and bitpay, but then I got on Nostr, and I am currently waiting for a new phone that has nfc so i can play with bitcoin wallets and i cashed in most of my crypto (the ones i could get out)....i didn't get Bitcoin until I was active on Nostr.
Yes! I was asked to give an invoice for 1K sats by a stranger. And that’s when I had to learn of WoS, Lightning and Bitcoin. Never even thought of it before that. 😂
Next step is to run a node
I already went through 2 nodes, and now on my third lightning node, as well as full bitcoin core nodes (x3) . The rabbit hole was deep 😂😂😂

Me!! I was a crapto heathen until nostriches showed me the way to Bitcoin. I got to nostr via hearing about it from Reason magazine. I was a libertarian anarchist looking for a community that really got me, and I found it!
I bought a bit of bitcoin in 2012, and then had some years in the desert making use of it for cash and messing around with ethereum -- took awhile to see proof of stake for what it was, and I hadn't been familiar with the WEF. But #Nostr has reaffirmed my faith in #OrangeLife, and I'm stacking diligently.
I dabbled in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies without understanding the economics or deeper fundamentals. Bought and sold at various times of hype. After I got onto Nostr, I was educated thoroughly, with much help from @The: Daniel⚡️ @elsat @LynAlden Grateful for their guidance 🙏🏼
Cool, yeah. My story is because of nostr i learnt how to buy my first sats. But I have only ever bought t-shirts from @ltngstore and zapped people while helping with onboarding nostr users:) though I’m interested in the protocol, especially as a method of payment for retailers. Probs gonna do the blockchain elective in my studies, which means 10 weeks of intensive study on Satoshi, which will be eye opening I’m sure.
yep. ngl. i liked the concept, but was too nervous about trying to learn it all, even though my oldest brother has been mining since i can remember… little by little, learning on nostr has made me ALL for the orange pill. 😂
