 @e12630d3 Our cat spotted a rat outside that vanish into a hole in the fence. Never saw it again, but for the next year every time our cat went outside she sat and stared at that hole.

 @de22920b Amazing how they remember this stuff. Dunno if all cats sniff the dishwasher, but at an old house (8 or 9 years ago) that was where the mice got in, through a hole at the side of the dishwasher. Even now, our cat regularly sniff checks the side of the dishwasher.. just incase.

 @e12630d3 They also have an amazing sense of time. We gave a treat to my cat and dog at 5pm.  Within 5 minutes of 5pm they both would show up at my office door. Daylight saving time would mess them up by an hour for a few weeks.
