 Literacy is a liability
Teaching the masses to read without teaching critical thinking created a very convenient space for propaganda
 Live and learn
New financial system, new world…let’s make a new Bitcoin language too.
It must be the hardest language to learn
If we put an end to public education, only those who can afford it (and evidently see value in it) will go to school.

This is achievable under a Bitcoin standard. Let the mass man pay for his own education if he could.

 you’re right on

was a volunteer for a literacy program for Americorps many years ago

all the books were essentially propaganda for training kids to be consumers not producers

it was disturbing to me, and the kids who resisted were the most individualistic in the class, brave, unafraid to contradict their teachers, always in trouble, and mostly the kids of migrant farm workers
Almost as if by design 🤔🤨🧐
Disagree. Increasing access to information through literacy reduces indoctrination and is a prerequisite for learning critical thinking.

The number of imposed ideas collectively entertained by people globally today says otherwise. It would have never been possible to reach the same amount of people with indoctrination 500 years ago.
