@f2adfbd9 I don’t recall saying that, nor do I think it’s true. Some chips on the iPhone logic board that are not part of the A16 SoC are fabbed at much older, larger process sizes. Maybe that’s what your remembering?
@a6ff0b2b Thanks - I thought I heard you say that not all of the SoC elements were from the 5nm process, but that must’ve been it. I’ll go back and check, I remember something about a 40nm process going to a 27nm one.
@f2adfbd9 Yeah, that was the display driver chip going from 40nm to 28nm. That’s a separate chip, not part of the A16.
