Elon is simultaneously leading humanity forward to become a multi-planetary species, and leading naive young investors to lose all their savings via a dog token with an infinite supply. The duality of man. https://image.nostr.build/dad1759669e8608cc84bc7a0e102e102d49946d0a02a19f839ce4e6ba771524c.jpg
Everyone needs a hobby.
He isn't really doing the first part which makes the second part make much more sense
He’s already created reusable rockets - the first of their kind Will critique Elon where he’s wrong, but you cannot argue he hasn’t innovated in rocketry.
Creating landing rockets using government subsidies as part of a grift company is not the same as leading humanity towards being an interplanetary species. At best that would be hyperbole.
Who has done more? Certainly not NASA or Boeing.
Out competing fellow grifters does not make you worthy of the title of interplanetary pioneer. I challenge you to go back a decade and listen to Elon talk about his companies to see just how many promises he makes versus what is actually delivered. The unfortunate(?) reality is that humanity is not ready to become an interplanetary species. Not only do we lack the technology, we also lack the motivation and spiritual fortitude to accomplish such a large goal. Maybe in a few centuries under a Bitcoin standard we could achieve that goal, but the energy is not there yet. Dogecoin is very in line with all his other companies. "Faster" blocks, "More" transactions, "Better' scaling, but nothing truly innovative under the hood. Tesla, SpaceX, Hyperloop, Solar City, X.com (the original one) all have the same failures. Over promise based on a misunderstanding of the fundamentals, grift funding from private and public investors, then rotate capital towards next venture. A tale as old as time.
Both are scams aint no one in space ever
How do you suppose you are using the internet right now?
Wires in the ocean
Without space satellites, rural areas would have no internet. Starlink exists. Are you saying you believe space satellites are made up?
Its all made up. Yes. Satellites do not exist in space.
Ever used Google Maps? GPS tracking would be impossible without space satellites. What is your theory for how GPS works, given you don’t believe in satellites?
You ever seen them driving the car mapping out the streets. You ever thought about that.
You have drivers driving Google cars, taking pictures every minute. Mapping out every city, every street, and you believe it's satellites still
GPS relies on an ECEF coordinate system. That stands for earth-centered-earth-fixed. It uses the geocentric WGS 84. It's brutal cognitive dissonance once you explore the topic. Everything assumes a stationary plane, and "satellites" don't need to be in 'space'. https://m.primal.net/KnsC.png
Vibes of cosmos book series and videos are really good.
Almost all communications are done by undersea cables. https://m.primal.net/Knrj.png
The longer Elon is around the more I realize he's lost his touch. He's smart in a very narrow field of applied engineering, everything else he says is totally made up or wrong lead by selfish and political propaganda.
