Spray them with a mix of dawn soap and water.

@π€π§π§π’π¦πž 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠 i do but they keep coming form some other fucking place :wario_angry:

Try neem oil. Most aphids hate it, but it will drive other insects out too. Might be better to treat the parameter plants after you get all the aphids off with soap and see if that keeps them from returning.

Used motor oil master race 🀣
β–² β–Ό
I use it on everything and probably go through 100 gallons a year between wood treatment and for use as fuel.
β–² β–Ό
What kind of fuel like what are you running on motor oil out of curiosity.
β–² β–Ό
People use it in 2 cycle engines even though you're "not supposed to". The older ones with lower fuel: oil ratios are far less discriminating on what oil is in there than 50:1 tight tolerance newer things. I've heard of loggers running 15w-30 or whatever their trucks use for their chainsaws. When you're going through fuel and oil all day, you find what you can use best that's compatible with everything you're running.

@BowsacSummer @Tyler @43a37488 @Jonaschuzzlewit @π€π§π§π’π¦πž 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠 I reuse my old synthetic oil from my EDM shitboxes on grass sprouts on concrete driveway to my chainsaws.

Undercoat your truck, I once worked in a shop and we had a set up to drip it into the wood fired furnace.
β–² β–Ό
My dad did that, works great, makes the wood last 2x longer and it's more "environmentally sound" than bringing it to a disposal site.
β–² β–Ό
I thought disposal sites just put it through a few sieves and a magnet and sell it to asphalt makers?
β–² β–Ό
Exactly. Why pay money to get rid of something valuable?
β–² β–Ό
Perfectly good hand tool restoration material and wood hardener. I use it to clean anything rusty, although I filter mine first through a paint sprayer filter.
β–² β–Ό
Ya, it was a nice set up, can’t remember exactly how it was rigged, it was a long time ago. Just a simple ball valve and copper I think.

My ms250 saw shits itself if I don't use high quality oil, but it's likely because it's just worn out.

Any of my mechanically injected diesels like it as long as I cut it with kerosene or gas to bring the viscosity more diesel-like and make sure is clean first via settling and pumping it through a filter.

I run my generator and my wood chipper on it.

I knew I was saving mine for a reason. I only have a jd 2040 that is mech inj diesel but dreaming of a generator that is... I have several barrels worth since I started... Figured it was good for fences. I like the idea of reusing it.

Have you ever had any overspeed issues with the home blend
β–² β–Ό
 mfw wite wiminz :kitty:
β–² β–Ό
Nope because engine speed is controlled by your governor not your fuel type
β–² β–Ό
You ever put gasoline in a diesel vehicle wyth a governor. I watched that happen at a gas station once, I am thinking you are over estimating that governors mandate
β–² β–Ό
Yeah don't put gas in a diesel, this is motor oil.
β–² β–Ό
That's what I was talking about with ur gas oil mix did it ever cause problems if you are just spit balling the ratio
β–² β–Ό
 Just mixing it for viscosity.
β–² β–Ό
That's pretty neat to recycle that way. If I get a chance at an old diesel I will try it. Just not my deere... She is precious to me not for experiments... I guess I am probably over thinking the dangers of a bit too much gas in the mix... Never forget listening to that poor diesel have a massive MI.

Lost a v dub diesel to overspeed once but that was my fault... Forgot to drain the intercooler of the accumulated oil... 5th gear standing on the brake still ate itself... One of my most collosal failures so far... And sadly only #2 worst screw up...

Yeah always have to keep on top of turbos, if equipped. That's one of the few things stopping me from turboing my tractor.

All my engines are naturally aspirated so I haven't worried much about overfueling but whenever it happens it's almost always due to a fault.

I find most naturally aspirated, mechanically injected engines can tolerate a mix of 75% motor oil, 25% diesel without any noticable difference except a change of smell of exhaust, and a little more power. That's for spring-summer-fall.

For winter I have to cut a bit more with gas because the oil gets pretty thick. I use a stick in both cases for viscosity and always mix well before measuring and fueling.

Don't stick it in your tractor if you're worried. It's possible to coke your injectors but as long as you aren't constantly rolling coal it should be fine.

Good luck, I've had great success.
 Rubbing alcohol works well too.
Make sure to rinse to plant with water afterwards.
Hope this helps. :animu_okie:
