This post is mostly right but I disagree with the point.

Humans have basically only done capitalism and communism so far. The evidence shows barter has only existed alongside monetary systems. So it's reasonable of her to speculate that by beginning to move away from a monetary system you're emulating the natural communist system where people just do what needs to be done for survival and quality of life, including sharing a diversity of goods.

You intelligently expressed how you and her disagree on what capitalism means and you don't look at it in the same dichotomy, but you also seem to be missing some of what informed her viewpoint 🤙

"Stupid juice" - that's what you've got for me? You're gonna say "stupid juice" to me?

Feel free to learn from me, silly
Bruh, just understand that trade is not communism, and communism is not natural.. in the meantime, I look forward to all the great stuff I'll learn from you
Somehow I doubt the average reporter has a nuanced view of capitalism vs communism and how barter may or may not fit in or alongside either system.
You might be right. Maybe she just heard people associate currency with the term "capitalism" and went with it
this lady was not informed and agreed with my correction

you're massively overthinking this
No, overthinking is when you think too much. I was trying to teach you something, kiddo
Actually misspoke here - overthinking is when you take too much thought to reach a simple conclusion. What I did was type useful information to help people learn
