I know there are progressive/left leaning nostriches out there. Can any of y'all give me your argument _against_ voter ID? Trying to understand
There is legitimately no argument against it unless you want people voting who shouldn’t be voting
i think the argument is that jurisdictions can gameify the ID requirements to restrict access for legitimate citizens. but also, and this is less of a progressive stance, various modern ID programs are a means toward tighter social control by the government, a way to restrict access to other things, like housing, money, travel.
Maybe we skip the ID step and go straight to giving a blood sample while voting. Sorry identical twins, first to cast their vote gets counted 😂
Idk how yous vote in America, but Republicans should joke about voting 6 times each until it becomes a bipartisan issue.
