I know there are progressive/left leaning nostriches out there. Can any of y'all give me your argument _against_ voter ID? Trying to understand
There is legitimately no argument against it unless you want people voting who shouldn’t be voting
i think the argument is that jurisdictions can gameify the ID requirements to restrict access for legitimate citizens.

but also, and this is less of a progressive stance, various modern ID programs are a means toward tighter social control by the government, a way to restrict access to other things, like housing, money, travel.
I’m not against voter ID and I can’t say I’m super informed on the issue, but I would think many of the same arguments against KYC in fintech would apply. What ID and personal information is enough?
Maybe we skip the ID step and go straight to giving a blood sample while voting. Sorry identical twins, first to cast their vote gets counted 😂
yep, and you're a different religion than me, so i have another form for you to fill out...
Idk how yous vote in America, but Republicans should joke about voting 6 times each until it becomes a bipartisan issue.
