 Not the same. Growth happens by additional value propositions. 

For example, you sell Pizza you attract pizza people, but if you also sell ice cream, now you will attract ice cream people too. Two product, bigger market share. 

If you make the best Pizza, Ice cream people wont come. They are not interested. 

Very different philosophies imo. 
 I meant that fixing the user experience brings growth. So in a sense fixing the user experience is the growth we seek
