that could have been my reply - WORD for WORD!! Funnily enough i once wiki'd the reason for this... it TURNS OUT.. it's all about how you heat them! If you do it in water, probably like your mother did, it releases some sort of sulphur which is DISGUSTING. If you fry them however apparently they can be yummy I say apparently... cos I AM NOT GOING NEAR THAT SHIT EVER! ahahaha

Food is like weather: if it sucks, you just didn't prepare good 🤣 Nowadays we boil broccoli with some bouillon. The water can be used as a base for vegetable soup, and broccoli has extra good taste (and probably smell, didn't really pay attention to that 🤔)
