I think many are incorrectly labeled as Putin simps when what they are actually doing is just trying to push back on the narrative that the West and left are a shining pillar of integrity and honesty. They may not necessarily think he's a good person, and don't go as far as saying that, however they might agree with some of the things he says and support that as a form of supporting free speech, when the rest of the world is trying to cancel him and anyone that appears to support him.
would you be able to support the free speech of a man who says your country doesn't exist, that you don't have your language and you should be part of his country?
If your country was full of nazis and war criminals yes.

Its ok it will all be over this year. The comedian zelensky is doing a great job caring for his people 🤣
Lol, there is more nazis in an average european football match. Not to mention russian matches.
Supporting free speech means people should be allowed to say anything.
it's quite clear that he wanted the minsk agreements to happen, in which even the donbass remained as ukrainian.

having nukes on anyone's borders aimed at you is a no go for anyone

I'm pretty sure if Russia suggest their nukes could go to Cuba the yanks would go ballistic

Finland recently became NATO member, look how close it to russia. so what, have you heard any concern from russia?
this "nukes close to border" it just verbal smoke. putin do not afraid of NATO.
reasons why russia invade ukraine totally different.
Russia did articulate that finlands entry would require a proportionate security response

nukes on the Ukrainian border was discussed wrt to to reduced time for nukes to hit moscow, and this was unacceptable

it's clearly multifactorial. ending neo nazi ideology and it's demilitarization, and stopping the shelling of culturally Russian peoples are part of the explicit goals

no doubt Russia now has the world's most capable military, thanks to Sanctions and NATOs war "practice"

I think Russia may not be "afraid", yet the devastating WW2 reality they copped (which the yanks never appreciate) gives them a healthy respect that war is the last option to pursue
 > stopping the shelling of culturally Russian peoples

Where and why Ukraine started the shelling of culturally Russian peoples?
here's a link from 2015. Kiev started shelling the Donetsk region the year before

there are tons of sources on this. it's merely a matter of finding a source you'd be comfortable with trusting

https://asiatimes.com/2015/03/pepe-escobar-in-eastern-ukraine-howling-in-donetsk/
So, Kyiv started shelling Donetsk region in 2014, although the article says 2015. Why Kyiv started shelling Donetsk specifically? Unfortunatelly I don't see clear answer in this article, can you say it clearly?

Some notes about the article:

- Photos broken, I would like to see and analize them
- Pepe Escobar (https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Pepe_Escobar). "Escobar has also been a commentator for RT and Sputnik News. According to the GEC, both outlets are members of "Russia's disinformation and propaganda ecosystem"
- https://europaobjektiv.com/ - very strange news outlet.

quote from article - "Europa Objektiv, a German-based non-governmental media project"

interesting, why "german-based" media project registered in Tbilisi
 I absolutely agree with you

I don't know enough about him personally or politically so I reserve judgement

however, to me it is clear that him and the Russians have a functioning diplomatic core which the West has utterly lost

he looks good in comparison to the western simps

but in a world of functional diplomats, he'd look worse than he does
