 I mean, is it REALLY any wonder? There's no incentive anymore when the cost of living is this high and you're always one paycheck away from drowning. Most single people do not make a livable wage to have a comfortable life or save for anything when the cost of rent, housing, gas prices, food, and inflation in general just keeps rising and wages increases don't even come close to keeping up with it.

 @0107af74 People just refuse to go where high paying jobs are plentiful and cost of living low. Particularly young people. Simple free market, if there are many workers and few jobs in the place, pay will be low and conditions poor. Living costs too. If everyone crowds up in the same place all costs will go up.
