Are you literally here to imply that people who have no basic services, infrastructure of any kind, roads washed out, towns inaccessible and businesses all shut down aren’t as bad off because “there was life before electricity?”

I’m hoping you posted this on the wrong note. 

 You'll find that some of those are quite well prepared as people used to be to deal with it.

One size does not fit all ever. 

 I don’t understand how any of this is relevant or if you think I made some sort of claim that you are countering. 

 I'm pushing back against the common holier than though "ye all must do as I say & leave" BS.

They can make their own decisions.
