How old am I? 
I'm so old I did a lot of my homework using the World Book Encyclopedia, with the green and white bindings - the volumes lived on the built-in shelves between the kitchen and living room in our Levitt house, as did the radio which was always tuned to WQXR.

 @1f53047a Did you get plagued by the "encyclopaedia salesmen" that came round, rather like the Avon lady or the JWs of today? They were a menace. If you signed up for one volume you were stuck buying the entire set, month by month.
