 Of course they do. My point was about the scope of what blocking means. They want to not see stuff - fine. But that can't include  blocking other people from seeing their stuff. Twitter blocks were a lie- just log out and you see it all again. We can't impl blocks either (and neither can bluesky).

Solutions include muting, private spaces, subscribing to censors to get those mutes before you see stuff, etc. 
 yeah maybe im not using the word “block” correctly. I’m interested in your thoughts about the censors you’ve mentioned. Does that count as someone blocking others from seeing stuff? 
 I took a different interpretation of the word when I made my point.  I think we all just have different ideas as to what it means

1) Not allowing the 'bad person' to see your posts (part of Twitter blocking) - this is what I thought was not useful.
2) Not allowing the 'bad person' to participate in your conversation -- this I think is needed and useful.

 1) is not even possible for public nostr notes.. unless a client decides to enforce it, in which case one could switch clients :)
