I don't think Elon will give in - so the question is how does he secure user data without giving up the house? IF X takes on Nostr base layer, Elon truly would not have access to our private data anymore.

Turn it into a distributed network. This also assumes there is no back doors (which would be a big assumption if the code were not open sourced).

We shall see...
