Because financial technology has been limited over the past several decades, credit card payments are basically like, "okay so, hand over your private key and pin, and then we'll use them to get that transaction completed asap".
Yea this is an example of monopolists just completely torpedoing all innovation. The irony is most healthy industries allow a trickle and enough small change that they can keep up with it. Bitcoin completely breaks the dam and renders them all obsolete overnight. I don’t see any reason why credit cards should exist in a world with Lightning.
With NFC payment card you don't even need to put the pin, it's a free access to your account for anybody who got your card, that's why now i let the minimum on my card account and make a transfer when i need to
“And by completed asap we mean we’ll begin a process that actually takes several days up to a month and a half to complete on the back end”
