Imagine an even smaller number by considering how few people on Bitcoin X are original thinkers who aren't just parroting someone else or mindlessly trolling. There's a lot of boring circle jerking in this space, and I've definitely participated in it. Guilty. Honestly, I can see why most people aren't interested. Money shouldn't be a religion. It's a tool. Fucking use it and live life. Bitcoin X isn't real.
I agree. We like to think of ourselves as super critical thinkers when instead we are just parrotting the various influencers like Saylor and similar
I don't mean to say that spreading someone else's ideas is necessarily a bad thing. Only that it can easily become religious or tribal once people start deifying influencers (like Saylor) or participating in the latest drama. People can do whatever they want. I'm just bored with it and don't think it deserves my energy. Bitcoin is the best money I've found and I just want it to be that. I don't need it to be my religion or sole focus in life. The whole point for me was to free up my mind to focus on important things, and Bitcoin X isn't it. Unfortunately, I can't escape it even here. 😁 Life goes on. ✌️
Yep, I get your point. Probably, tribalism is within human nature and manifesting itself through religion, money, politics and so on. I guess that tribalism is basically a consequence of strong opinions. Up to you to decide how much you want to get involved.
100% agree. Bitcoin Twitter is full of the same type of people parroting hopium, why holding 0.00001 bitcoin gets you ‘big tit bitches’, and other degenerate crap that make the rest of Bitcoiners look like idiots. Very few people there that actually add value and push for legitimate change.
