The #UAW in particular is a #union that’s been a pretty popular punching bag in the American public consciousness in my lifetime, so it’s hard not to see stuff like this and think there’s just been a fundamental shift in how the general populace views #unions and #strikes in the past half-decade

Americans can see with their own eyes rising inequality, wage stagnation, and cost of living pressures. (particularly housing) 
They may not know the facts, but they feel the effects.
