 Zettelkasten is a fascinating princip and system. It takes a lot of work and disciplin to really use it effectively though... 

 Can you say more about why and how you use it?

I read a book of his in German and started to implement a kind of Zettelkasten system. A first I was using Roam Research, later on Notion, and recently I've discovered Obsidian.md with which I'm still experimenting.
I'm afraid I haven't been disciplined enough zo really benefit from it. But, if I were to start my studies today, I would definately spend some time to learn to take good notes... 

 What do you take notes in currently @Gigi ? Any method to the madness? 

 Look into Antinet. The analog way is sometimes the best way. I have tried both Analog and Digital Zettelkasten and can say that the analog way is better.

Mixing zettlekasten with your tool of choice is a very personal choice and there's a lot of people suggesting workflows. It can get very complex very quickly especially if you add Getting Things Done. His makes a good start and is very close to what I use, except I use org-mode instead of markdown on emacs and mobile.
