China challenges Brussels’ electric car tariffs with WTO complaint
China has filed a World Trade Organization (WTO) complaint against the European Union's (EU) imposition of tariffs on electric cars. The move is seen as a response to the EU's 10% tariff on Chinese-made electric vehicles, which came into effect in August. China claims that the tariffs are unfair and violate WTO rules.
