Communists/Socialists should always be treated like the intellectual children they are, only these are the kids nobody likes. 

Treat them with disdain, ignore them or at best, pat them on the head and smile and say, "That's nice Timmy now go and eat your glue."

We should no longer entertain their foolish ideas and from there I'm 100% on board with your plan for any unreformed among them.
