I'm having the same issue with notifications. You're saying we should uninstall Amber, and instead just use our nsec in Amethyst? Or we should we reinstall Amethyst? Sorry, it was little confusing.
Uninstall to fully delete the local storage. Make sure to have a copy of your NSEC.
