I believe financial advisors have never been necessary, but can continue to be a benefit to their clients if they are adequately knowledgeable and experienced.

Any financial advisor who hasnt spent at least 100 hours (let alone 1000 or 10000 hours) understanding Bitcoin is going to find themselves behind the curve until they do and are likely keeping their clients uninformed
