 @14676c79 Well, the Asheville airport is notoriously expensive. The Signature FBO there was in a class-action lawsuit a few years ago by the AOPA or some other group for abusing their position as the only FBO on the field to price-gouge on fuel and other services. Asheville is a beautiful town, and the airport is quite nice---but, the Signature is crazy. I used to take a Bonanza up there to AVL from CLT and pick-up/drop-off at the Civil Air Patrol hangar...Signature would send line-guys on golf carts to roll up and essentially harass us for not utilizing their ramp. I've had them claim I owned a $30 ramp fee just for taxiing on "their ramp" in order to get to the 100LL self-serve before.
