I don't think the actions of individuals speaks to the protocol.
It sorta does, since Nostr attracts libertarians and this is what that movement's underbelly often looks like.

Perhaps I'm ignorant of the noise. I think you've got the wrong idea of libertarians. Don't confuse the belief system or the protocol with the actions of individuals. Focus on the signal. We out here to build the future.

I know of him due to his connections to the monetarist Chicago school of econ, working with Milton Friedman and the like, but I never read their books.
His basic economics book is the go to for anyone that doesn't understand econ.
