One thing that shocked me deeply in Europe was I saw no young people in high end restaurants and hotels. Not even like 5 stars, but just moderately good ones.

I only saw old people there. Younger people were either from America or Asia.

Every time I stepped into a good restaurant in Europe, everybody was like dressed up.

I was like: WTF, I am just wearing a T shirt and look totally cheap. But this place is not even expensive, am I living in alternative reality?

Young people in Europe must dislike good places.

Or, the economy has failed them so that they couldn’t afford shit.
Nostr and freedom tech have the potential to save young people from systems that have trapped them.
I and my circles suffer from the latter
 true story 🫂
Let’s freedom tech(as a verb?) out of this situation together.
I once tipped a waitress in Yurop. She was so shocked that she fell in love with me.
Thanks, from now on, I won’t tip male waiters just to not be mistaken as a gay.
Enjoy boogers and cum in your burger.
 That’s dirty lol
 I think it's a few things.

1. People in Europe generally do dress better, they care about looking well put together. This is just a cultural thing.
2. The demographics of Europe and NA are way older when compared to Asia. There are just fewer young people, in nice restaurants and everywhere else.
3. Yes, the economy is failing young people in both NA and Europe, much worse in Europe IMO. That said, the cost of a very nice meal out in Europe is still way way lower than it is in the US.
I was being sarcastic but thanks for pointing out the demographics factor. Totally missed it.
europeans have a thing about restaurants, they are reasonable prices almost everywhere even in like Amsterdam, in eastern and southern europe they are very cheap and common, high end places aren't that common in most areas except central business districts and such

and european young people are poor, thanks to the way the EU has fucked up the whole economy with its endless ridiculous rules

i got to watch bulgaria going from a vibrant, happening place to utter garbage after 10 years of EU "assistance" and serbia is heading that direction, bosnia is probably the least messed up, also southern serbia is still kinda ok (no idea about kosovo, that's a deep state stronghold)

there is huge problems brewing with demographics, the young people aren't marrying, aren't having children, and this is gonna get to be a really really big problem soon
Yeah. I have heard of problems in EU but it was just numbers on news. Living in EU gives me real perspectives and no wonder young people are not happy with EU.

Growing up, I was taught that Europe was a progressive, developed, rich, equal place where people were nice, educated and happy.

It makes no sense to have such a high tax rate because public services such as transportation and medical care is not even that good. Where is tax spend on?

Propaganda is propaganda afterwards.
Despite the cost, it feels like more young people eat nice meals out in the US than in Europe…
Instead of MAGA, let’s MEGA hahah. But before that, let’s MBGA!

disclaimer: everything I said does not represent my opinions.
and i should qualify that includes having serivcable bulgarian language skills enough to not start speaking english until the situation got completely ridiculous
and yes, this scenario, even worse, i had an account with the very same bank 3 years before that, and i had in hand an employment contract and a lease agreement
