I love this. Sounds like a wonderful practice. I love that there are so many ways we can return back to aligned and clear presence and command our field. I used to work a lot for a period with sitting inside a double upside and downwards pyramids forming a merkaba as protection shield and do a similar practice of clearing the shashumna channel.  And connecting to earth roots and cosmic source. I find myself switching things up as it's not my nature to stick to one practice and set routine. But I did find myself that day calling in archangel Michael to assist me and unhook all chords between me and any vampiric, parasitic, discordant etc energies. It's probably been my main most often go to for clearing my field the last decade or so. That and calling in St. Germain to light the violate flame of transmutation within every cell of my being. Both work like a charm every time. Communing with source, God/Goddess creator, the sun/Christ light in my heart and calling in my higher self and invoking various commands are also part of my practices to deeper presence.
