While I am constantly checking my opsec over my few satoshis, scared to lose anything above on-chain mining fees, in shitcoin land a victim lost 12,083 spWETH tokens (~$32.4 million) after signing a malicious transaction, lol who are these absolute nutters keeping 32 million in a hot wallet? https://www.theblock.co/post/318574/crypto-whale-loses-over-32-million-in-apparent-phishing-attack
Shitcoiners gonna shitcoin. 💩
You can't stop them, you can only drain their wallets and demonetise them in Bitcoin terms
It’s inevitable.
That’s my deepest hope.
One day I was blind signing with my hardware wallet half a dozen smart-contract transactions to setup a multisign wallet on Ethereum, and I'm not even talking about the transactions costs. Then I realized, wtf am I doing?! This is complete garbage! My only mistske were not to sell everything for BTC immediatly after that.
Lol like why bother multi-sigging if you're entire goal is to risk capital in DEFI anyway, that's how I saw it, I was big on the liquidity pool bullshit, i'm going to make money from all the suckers trading, but impermanent losses showed me this is just dumb Glad I figured it out eventually and sold all that trash, pitty I didn't do in a bull market though
People are careless until they learn their lesson.
A good rugging is a proper life lesson, if you're open to accepting it
Or they are careless until it is too late.
rofl this is what you get when you make your smart contract microcode Turing complete. Malicious smart contracts acting as virus or Trojan. It was inevitable. I feel sorry for the retail guys getting rekt, but I will watch from the sidelines as ETH eats itself in an orgy of scams.
Lol and that liquidity eventually bids up Bitcoin
