Three rounds of stimulus checks were sent out during the pandemic: the first in April 2020, the second in December 2020, and the third in March 2021. Trump doesn’t take the blame for all of that… In all fairness, I still thought covid was a danger in April 2020. It wasn’t until the vaccine started rolling out that I became suspicious when Facebook started censoring honest questions about safety.

When leftist in the governments and media call for an economic shutdown and you suddenly have millions of effectively unemployed people with zero income and little saving, what else could have been done? Nobody is saying that. I'm saying that blaming it on trump is disingenuous. To believe that, you'd have to ignore all that was happening globally. China was welding doors shut to keep people in their apartments... Democrats were talking about taking people's children away and putting people into Internment camps. The world went completely hysterical and yes, we printed money... But let's not pretend that trump is ignorant to how money works and was out there running up the nations credit cards. That simply not the case.
Trump is a Keynesian like the rest of them. He likes big government. Running up the nation's credit cards is exactly what he did. Because the rest of the world went commie doesn't mean you have to join in. you don't fight communism by becoming one yourself.

And what exactly is the alternative to printing money when you have half of the world effectively unemployed due to govern action? They were putting business owners in jail for opening their doors. Allow blue states to bankrupt themselves and have people flock to Texas and Florida And other freer states. Basically just allow people to be free. It's not that hard. Would those commie policies have lasted so long if they weren't backed up by federal communism?
