Started as a London pirate radio station back in the day

It got really popular with youngsters and gained millions of listeners

What happened to it?

Got bought by a huge centralised parent company 

Now it's another safe middle of the road station

 Had a conversation with my aunt the other day about kiss fm back in the day. It was one of the best things about driving from Oxford to London, we use to pick up the stations midway through the journey. Spot on about it turning to garbage once it became commercialised.
