It's not the wealth, it's the method of acquisition.
@Godcast (GOWAD half) Precisely. The moral reasoning in the post relies too heavily on the magnitude of the wealth acquired as a reason for why usury is bad, which is why I disagree with the post.
It's just one aspect of the issue. A 4chan post is more digestible than the collection of books I have on the topic
@Godcast (GOWAD half) Fair, but enough people looked at the post and thought "this seems funky, I'm not sure I buy it." *Two* people even came in and were like "maybe usury isn't actually bad." It's a very bad argument, it should be discarded.
