He knows. But he's also in the business of attempting to profit from his customers. They already have a tipping feature, it supports bitcoin in some countries I believe, but its not in their interest to promote it.

Having the algorithm machine in hand is much more profitable for him than giving his users decentralization and decision-making power, I think.
