HDR is so complicated it feels like you need to read a whole ass book just to watch movies and play games these days
@Sumi. :heart_bi: Yeah it's too much, I wish someone would have figured out something more simple. I love gaming in HDR on Xbox but sometimes games will popup sliders and I'm like "I have no fucking clue what this means"
@fb0c61ff I now have profiles configured for HGiG, HDR10 and Dolby Vision and it all looks hella good it's just funny to me that there's so many different standards
@Sumi. :heart_bi: if you wish to experience pain: enable HDR in microsoft windows
@772e743c I think neither my gpu or my monitors support it :)
@Sumi. :heart_bi: consider yourself lucky. it tries to tonemap everything SDR to HDR, and does the worst job of that i have ever seen. it is unbearable
@772e743c :tlapkaStare:
Andor has better cinematography than like any of the mainline star wars movies lmao
