I never had luck rinsing, not rinsing, big pot, little pot, or rice cooker. Always a mess or scorched on the bottom, then I tried the instant pot. It comes out perfect and no mess. For brown rice it's 1 part rice to 1 1/4 water or broth 22 minutes with a 15 minute natural release, then release the remaining pressure and voilà rice.
@62b456fc I've made it in my pressure cooker (manual instant pot) and that's much better, just thought I'd try again with the cooker. Should just get rid of the thing since it takes up a ton of shelf space.
