Question everything
always. My mother instilled that in me from early childhood, much to ALL my teachers' dismay
I was never taught this, so I had to teach myself this notion. If you do not question everything... you're under a spell (likely from a horrible belief system).
One can’t have a reliable belief system without questioning everything. Example: if you have multiple witnesses to an event and they all agreed on all details, does this make it more likely to be true? Or less? I’d argue less.
In that example, I'd say that their bad beliefs they had instilled in them may have had a hand in that.
