 Marques Brownlee: new iPhone's big "headlining feature" is that it's USB C and it's a "huge deal".

it's not like this was Apple choosing to change it. the EU forced them and Apple grudgingly did it.

 @kaia and? at leasst apple chose to upgrade the connection tech to usb3 something instead of keeping usb2. my phone from 2021 is usb2 0 + usbc
