the red flag is trying to change definitions

we got these definitions, and relations between words, from thousands of years of collective effort in communicating

i think the most basic one has been conflating capital (property) with power (capitol), these are based on the latin word "capito" which means to grasp

one means what you have, the other means what you can steal 

 Yeah, it's an attempt to pull people into a frame that's like walking through a hall of funhouse mirrors. A projection of "abstract power," if you will
