What's the trigger? I used to drink frequently until the first time I went keto and was religious with it. I lost my cravings for all vices about a month or so in. When I went away from it, sugar cravings returned but the drinking never did. I think I've had one drink in the last year and it was last October.
there's some complex around coffee and alcohol, if i drink coffee, i crave alcohol to calm the jitters... pretty much the two have to go at the same time and the caffeine - that's to get me working, so it's a loop from stress of work to wasting half my time not really there, and mouthing off at people
When you get your blood sugar more in line, you won't need the caffeine so much. A lot of people need caffeine to raise them out of a blood sugar crash.
