Interesting story. So can you say HyperCard was very widespread at the time? What was "avionics", programming the actual airplane stuff? Hyperscript is doing the English-like thing, which doesn't bother me because they're making it to be used only in small scripts in the middle of the HTML. If it was supposed to be used as a full language it would be horrible.
Yes, HyperCard was pretty hot at the time. The most impressive thing I know that was made in HyperCard was the original version of the Myst computer game. Avionics pretty much refers to the electronics on an airplane.
