A few days ago Poland was hit by terrible flooding. The south of the country was particularly badly affected, and people are being evacuated in many places. The situation is slightly improving now that the rain has stopped. In my home town it poured for two days, but everything is OK.
I heard that the Czech Republic was also affected by the floods and that Prague was not spared.
In Austria, a lot of snow has fallen and the situation also looks bad....

It's sad to see disasters happening all over the world. I live in a place in Japan where record heatwaves continue. It's hard to keep in shape, but I'm grateful for my current environment, where I still have a place to live and a job.

I remember talking to N a few weeks ago when Japan was hit by a terrible typhoon and now the heat....
Very many of these disasters lately.... I hope it cools down and things get back to normal. Take care and don't let the heat get to you! I'm sending lots of cold from Germany, because there they have it in abundance π .

Prague is ok or mostly ok, but there are whole towns and cities still completely submerged under the water in Moravia...
