@e6b06cd1’s “view from nowhere” doesn’t even describe this NPR debacle anymore.  Now it’s a view about nothing. They are literally filling airtime without any journalistic mission at all anymore.  And remember, the a-list anchors like Steve Inskeep make well over $500k a year for this daily betrayal of their audience.

At the beginning of this evening's All Things Considered, the female co-host spoke about the impending Republican government shutdown (she didn't use that correct description though of course) in an upbeat tone like it's a new season of the Kardashians starting or something.
