It made me think about the saying that the family unit is the true building block of society. And in many ways also its center of cultural regeneration.
For the first time in history #bitcoin now has given the power of self custody banking to the family unit. I think this might be way more significant than one might think at first glance.
You could setup one of @calle 👁️⚡👁️'s CashuMints and allocate sats between each other without thinking of bitcoin fees, making things more effective. And between family units if high trust maybe relatives or neighbors you could use eCash satoshis to transfer funds between each other, again at super low fees.

Families can set up trade between each other for splitting bills, sharing chores, taking care of each others kids like local kindergarten things. All while kids can get introduced to keeping their own first bitcoins and getting used to the tech. Remember that they don't have to deal with real prices, so the risk of loosing out on funds can be minimized. In your own personal family economy it's totally doable to let your kid save up and buy treats, sodas or more healthy fun stuff at any satoshi price you set. For example, taking a soda from the freezer 10 sats! It doesn't have to mach market value.
They still learn and participate in something new, and learning new ways to handle and think about money. The older they get the more real you can make it.
And as for cross family cooperation and trading: I just think it might be the best small scale economy possible to start out with. It's totally doable, and as soon as more families connect the market instantly increase. Growing on multiple small scales in an decentralized manner, is likely the most healthy way to get a proper economy growing anyways.
Appart from using family bitcoins for trading services between families, remember that there are lots of child stuff that fare well in a reuse economy. Like cradles, strollers, toys clothing etc. And the second hand market for this could absolutely be denoted and traden in bitcoins, if not for anything else so for fun and to at least get something growing.
I was encouraged by this and I'm sure there are more exciting ideas, I just wanted to share this to get the ball rooling.
