 Well, 58% of people want me to wallow in despair. 24% want me to finish Skeleton Key. I'm going to Whidbey Island this weekend and I'll take the book along and give it a final try.

 @de22920b I honestly have abandoned books because life is too short. Happened to me with House of Leaves.

 @de22920b since you brought the topic of books up - ever read "a natural history of dragons"?
Couldn't get the thought out of my head thet the books would largely make *great* LucasArts style adventure games...
